It was a full house in the Viking Village on Saturday, Feb. 7, as nearly 100 alumni packed the VASJ Gym for Alumni Night!
Alums from St. Joseph High School, Villa Angela Academy and VASJ were treated to a free pizza social in the school atrium before heading into the Gym to watch the Vikings take on the NDCL Lions. Our alums brought good luck, as the Vikings defeated the Lions by a final score of 88-81.
During halftime, a moment of silence was held for Coach Michael Graves ’93, who passed away last summer. Graves was a standout student-athlete and part of the 1991 and 1992 state championship teams. He went on to play at John Carroll University, and he eventually returned to VASJ as a varsity assistant coach and the head freshman coach.
Thank you to everyone who came back home to VASJ and made Alumni Night such a big success!
