VASJ student body attends Diocesan Youth Rally & Mass

Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School was honored to attend the second Diocese of Cleveland Youth Rally & Mass on Oct. 23 at Cleveland Public Auditorium. 

VASJ’s entire student body joined nearly 5,000 people at the event. Students, faculty and staff traveled downtown on 10 buses to worship with students from all 20 Catholic high schools in the Diocese of Cleveland. Students listened to a witness of faith by one of their peers and heard from speaker and writer Meg Hunter-Kilmer of Notre Dame Campus Ministry. Bishop Ed Malesic celebrated Mass along with many Diocesan priests, deacons and seminarians.

We’re grateful to the Diocese for inviting VASJ to this year’s event and giving our students the chance to gather together in praise and worship.
